Visdamax Malaysia can supply biomass wood-waste fueled boilers for very many different applications. Among the many applications that we supply to, timber driers (kilns) and veneer driers are the most common.
We supply two main types of boilers. Our propriety Bio-T (Turbomax) fully automatic boiler or a semi-automatic Combi boiler. For more information on each individual type of boiler, please refer to the following links.
"BIO-T (TURBOMAX) BURNER" ..... The environmentally friendly, reliable method of converting biomass to energy for power generation, timber drying kilns, veneer drying, agricultural and commercial heat energy.....
A Brief Description:
The Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner woodwaste combustion system was developed in New Zealand over 25 years ago. Today, we have installations of the Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner in Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand and Russia. Its primary key feature is its smokeless emissions, a product of its clean burning technology from complete combustion. To achieve this, the furnace incorporates the 3 Ts of good and complete combustion. Time, Temperature and Turbulance.
The unique "Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner" segment of the plant is a furnace with 2 distinct combustion chambers, the primary and secondary chambers. The primary chamber has an under stoked conical shaped fuel pile. As combustion air enters the chamber at an angle, the flames burn in a circular motion around the pile which then travels to the secondary chamber. This circular motion forms a cyclonic manner which achieves 2 of the basic Ts. Turbulance and retention time due to the long distance of travel. The wall of the furnace are lined with thick refractories which provides good insulation to the heat. As a result of this, high temperatures up to 950 degrees Celsius can be achieved which satisfies the 3rd T, Temperature. When all 3 Ts are achieved, the furnace burns cleanly enough that it is virtually smokeless with minimal natural discharge to the atmosphere.
The "Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner" can be coupled with a variety of heat exchangers to generate heat for process plant uses or for power generation. Heat exchangers can come in a variety of designs ranging from steam boilers to presurized hot water boilers to thermal oil boilers and in the form of fire tube or water tube boilers. The majority of our end users are in the business of timber drying kilns, veneer dryers, agricultural or commercial drying, commercial and residential heating or power generation.
The "Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner" is also capable of burning a wide range of woodwaste and other agro-industrial residues making it very attractive to many clients. Furthermore, the "Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner" is also capable of burning the said residues above with moistures content up to 130% wet (on dry basis) due to the immense size of the furnace and higher temperature capability.
Key Features & Advantages:
Some of the unique features of this Bio-T (Turbomax) Boilers are:
- Smokeless emissions from its clean and complete combustion technology
- Low natural emissions from the burner prior to any particulate collecting equipment
- High turndown ratios achievable in slumber mode
- Low power consumption with only a single FD fan
- No moving grates in the combustion chamber simplifying matters
- Ability to burn very wet fuels with moisture contents up to 130% wet on dry basis
- Designed and engineered to be transportable in containers for easy trans-shipment
As the Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner and Boiler is a modular designs, there are very many combinations that we can put together to meet you specific requirements. For most of the designs, economizers can be additionall fitted to the boiler to increase performance.
The Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner / Boiler can also be coupled with a variety of particulate collectors to suit the very many different emissions regulations. The many different types of particulate collectors that we can supply are:
- Multicyclones
- High efficiency 2 stage cyclones
- Bag houses, filters
- Electro static precipitators

"CombiMax Boiler" ..... An easy and economical approach to converting biomass waste to heat energy for your process applications .....
A Brief Description:
The "CombiMax-Boiler" is a semi-automated boiler system that runs on biomass fuels; namely wood waste. It is a simple and straightforward system for users who want a cheap and economical means to generate heat for their process requirements. Unlike its counterpart the "Bio-T (Turbomax) Burner", The "CombiMax-Boiler" uses a traditional furnace with a water walled pre-boiler coupled to a boiler drum for hot water or steam generation.
As the controls for this system is semi-automated only, operator presence at the boiler will be required round the clock. The operator will need to determine the current load on the system and manually operate the feeding. For this system, there is no PLC and graphic controls making the system very cost effective for cost conscious clients. While PLCs can be supplied to such plants, we normally do not unless specifically specified by the customer.
Depending on emissions requirements, the "CombiMax-Boiler" system normally comes with our standard multicyclone system.
Key Features & Advantages:
Some of the features of the CombiMax Boiler:
- Low capital cost investment.
- Small foot print size.
- Simple to operate.
- Ability to burn offcuts.
- Majority of components designed and engineered to be transportable in containers. Main boiler drum and water walled furnace to be shipped via flat rack.
The CombiMax Boiler can also be coupled with a variety of particulate collectors to suit the very many different emissions regulations. The many different types of particulate collectors that we can supply are:
- Multicyclones (Most commonly used with this type of boiler)
- High efficiency 2 stage cyclones
- Bag houses, filters
- Electro static precipitator.
